Bait the trap with a small piece of bread. Stick it on there good. That has always worked for me -

Raw Almonds are also good. They really like them.
Traps, spring type will work, but glue traps get them every time. Sure you have to put up with a bit of squeaking and struggling. Just roll the thing up and a quick whack and it’s over. Trash at that point.Lepton1 Thanks this. -

I left the door open at home working on a truck and ended up taking a trip with a pack rat, don't take long
to recognize the smell, figured out his movement and got him half way along with a sharp stick, from a pallet
in the back of the truck stop -
This particular trap is called the ninja warrior. Take your 5 gallon emergency mudslide bucket, put a gallon of water in it. Take a plastic bottle put a hole in the bottom center. Pass a shoestring through the hole, and out the neck and tie it tight to the top of the bucket. Make a small indention in the top side of the bottle and put your bait there.
Mouse will walk across the string get on the bottle and the bottle will roll. Mouse falls into the water and drown.
“But Six, my flip flops don’t have shoe strings.”
Use one of your thongs.IH Truck Guy, InTooDeep, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this. -
