I nailed it on 3M. What a horrible earnings report. I shorted at the pre market high and was out later in the day. 5K!
UPS, lol. I got them too. Followed the same trading style as I did with 3M.
Amazon today was a little tricky. I shorted at open. Covered the short 1.5% lower then I bought and sold at 1947.00.
But with Amazon you need money to take advantage of that. I bought/shorted 100 shares at a time. Nerve Racking yes! Worth it, without a doubt.

 

Did you also see the vix pop over 12?
When 3M and UPS both sink from poor earnings that alone should be a tell tale sign to get out of the market. If your going to play around, be in and out and say Thank You.

 

UPS couldn’t guide earnings correctly for the next few quarters. Hmmm, wonder why. lol

 

Faceplant had a nice run but they also couldn’t stay up. I never play FB, the stock is a little too crazy for me. Nevertheless I like crazy but FB is too fast, too soon up. I should of shorted at 203.00 AH. I was too nervous tho. It’s a cash cow but the fines are increasing.

 

Correct. You should of bought gold 15.00 lower. Or any gold miner. I like the movers. IAG, Yamaha Gold.... compare those two to the 15.00 buck move in gold. I don’t even have to look. They probably jumped 6%.

 

Not really. But when you see gold taking a little pullback go after Yamaha gold or IAG. Buy them 6/7% down. It won’t feel good but give it two days you will be rewarded.
