My brother in law drives for XPO, and he hasn't heard anything other than the usual BS that is always churning through the rumor mill.

Insanity doesn't always run in families. And sometimes the sister is more fun then the crazy EX.
Congratulations. I hope this works out for you and your family.sdaniel, road_runner and Cardfan89 Thank this. -
One was apparently doing wiggles on purpose the other night with doubles. Sometime using all 3 lanes.
Irks me because A it's unsafe and B because that's how we get lane monitoring and other beeping devices in trucksmisterG Thanks this. -
My friend/brother who works at USF Holland had his truck wrecked by a city driver, then gets it back a couple weeks later.
Now they tell him it’s down for maintenance at the Atlanta terminal, so after it’s done he goes to get it back. Come to find out it never had an issue, another senior road driver took it from him. Don’t know if the union can help him on this or not.
@road_runner Hopefully you do well there. Will you be P&D or road?misterG and road_runner Thank this. -
City for me. I have no experience with unions

I used to pull triples out west. They'd sometimes put k-bars inside the empty pups (as ballast if it is snowy). Problem is they are not manifested and will sit inside an empty trailer forever. If someone decides to built an empty triple road train and the trailer with the ballast is in the very back, you are going to have a very bad time.
I was pulling triples and all of mine were empty, but my back box was a lift gate; so that last trailer was about 2K lbs heavier. I was having a hell of a time pulling it back. Over 3 hours doing 50 mph riding the rumble strip. That set would not stay on my side of the zipper line. It was aggravating and nerve racking. People passed me with extreme caution... But there really was nothing I could do to control my trailers. -
This was doubles and it was windy but he was playing around or not caring. I've seen the third trailer dance on triples around Salina Utah, but that's a for-real spot, that xpo driver would have rolled in that wind.

Ruts in a well worn stretch of highway can give you a fit too.
road_runner and misterG Thank this. -
Yup but I drive that in a CMV as well without issues. Plain idiocy.
