If you didn't damage anything getting out, then the chances of anyone caring that you made a wrong turn is near zero.
You just ran into an ###### security guard who didn't want to get off their ### and interrupt their YouTube browsing.

IF I wanted to remember certain gaurds it will be the ones at the Military Depot near Summit PA south of York. There has been loads in containers that I have had to pickup where 4 privates and two sargeants stand in front of me holding my license to their eyes asking me over and over... are my eyes blue? WHAT?! if you cannot see that you need to go to the infimary and have your eyes checked.
SHUT UP driver, are your eyes blue?
YEs they are blue. so what?
WOT?! You want this trailer or not? Answer the questions kid. And get all huffy and puffy like a turkey ruffling feathers asserting dominance. SHEESH.
Ive usually gotten my trailers. But I know nothing about them. Only a weight on the BOL and where it's going. Either Aberdeen, Depot or Base or port. Nothing. Could be UFO's in there for all I knew.
Turkeys....
I hate to think what they have evolved into since 9-11. God help us all.Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -

Seems like a lot of ladys get a tad out of control while their husbands are at the conventions. It sometimes gets very interesting around the pool, and some of the swim suits were never meant to be worn by some of the women in the first place. -
Won't be your last dead end or turn for the worst. Stuff happens out here and happens quickly. If not sure don't do it. Take the time to check it out first if at all possible. Unless he is just a complete ### he won't bother to turn you in. You didn't do anything wrong or anything all of us haven't done. Relax and enjoy life. New driver....learning experience. Take it as that. What could and should you have done differently. Apply for future situations. Keep doing what needs to be done and be safe! Welcome aboard to the life of trucking.

In trucking you are going to find yourself in some crazy situations. It's not uncommon that you will go somewhere and it won't be marked correctly or it will look like it's here or there or whatever.
Don't even think twice about that. You should feel really proud of yourself that you got out of a tight spot without doing any damage. That's the name of the game.
It's not a mistake to make a wrong turn or the end up in the wrong place. The mistake is if you do damage getting out of there.
You should feel great about yourself because you did exactly the right thing.
You sound like a great driver.OldeSkool Thanks this.
