Wife and I pulled tanks intrastate, too. Once in a GREAT while, we had to sleep at a motel; we had a PeterCar 579 daycab. JUST MAKE SURE you get your endorsements!
I pulled reefers for a while, for a 'favor' to one of my old OTR companies. Not my cup of tea; another engine to worry about, tbh.
I've pulled flats, too. Not my cup of tea either, kudos to those guys however. Go read the Where are you thread #5 .. those guys earn their stripes.
I'm back in a daycab 'regional' home daily in Ohio, off weekends; but due to experience and being 'on call' on Saturdays, making almost what I did in tanks. -
I have a question for Rocks and or any other lady drivers.
You mentioned in an earlier post that some drivers do not treat you any different than a man.
I do not mean this in any derogatory way, at all, but don't you want to be treated as an equal.
I tend to treat lady drivers like any driver, well any driver I have any respect for, maybe I am wrong in my thinking. -

not far from the Campbell’s soup supply company they are slow there and we are waiting on them to get done loading first time for this we are at a Petro

When you say an "equal" what do you mean?
I don't consider myself equal to a man...
As long as they treat me in a respectful way, I am fine with that...
I just don't like when they call me "sir".. and they do that all the time.. not only men, but women too...
They say it's "automatic"...
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Hey Ms. @Dreazz75 ... when you mention someone in the forum that you want them to know, type this symbol @ in front of their names so they know that you have mentioned them.. Because if you don't, they will not know.
For example, if I just type your name, but with no @ in front of it, you may not know that I mentioned you and may not read my comment.
