What a surprise... LOL... I'm sure you seen my post earlier mentioning them. Shady agency they are for sure.

 

I wonder how often that happens here and doesn't get caught by the driver its happening to? I'd better a lot more than we think.

Pretty ridiculous. Actually really ridiculous.

Who's pocket is that money that's essentially being STOLEN going in? Obviously not the driver.

A former coordinator I had would say that the BAT office gets more complaints against them from drivers than any other agency here.

If that's the case you know Mercer has been hearing about them complaints... Just not doing anything about it...

Makes me wonder, are they somehow involved with the shady stealing tactics going on? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

 

It could have been an honest mistake, it was kind of weird how that went down. The real kicker was when they said to call back Monday.

Uhhh... that would be a no go. You're gonna fix it now or your customer will still have their freight on Monday. Have fun explaining that their load didn't go because you wanted an early Friday.

 

Ya. Money is the root of all evil. I dont trust anyone with regards to it. Especially in this industry.

 

Then it's the drivers daily for not catching it. Anyone that doesn't pay that close attention to their money is an idiot anyway.

Mercer, Landstar, Bennett, Admiral Merchants, they will all keep their agents before the drivers unless the agent does something really bad. Mercer cleaned out a couple agencies a few years ago. It does happen but they have to be caught red handed and it had to be bad. Those agents make Mercer a lot of money and it's easier to find drivers to pull the freight than it is to find million dollar a year agents.

 

How did you pressureize the oil system?

 

Shoved a rag up the puke tube, and put an airline fitting in an oil gallery port. Keep the pressure low, about 10 lbs or so or you will blow seals out.
