Your right. Maybe they hire in bunches. My buddies friend who got hired off the street a year ago said they needed 20-30. My other friend knows 2 guys from Sysco that went over recently. They told him a lot of people quit in the first month cause of the schedule. Also they don’t give you time to do a two week notice either. You got to be there on that date. Both people said this. One couldn’t give OD a notice he dropped OD and ran.

Rising Sun is a bit... KKK in case you weren't aware, used to be a sign outside of town warning specific types of people to be gone by sundown.

I have got to be the most petty driver out there. Usually I let things slide and go with the flow. But nothing... And I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING gets my blood pressure going more than a four wheeler parking in front of a dock door.
Yesterday I was making a delivery to a flooring company. The customer had two dock doors and about 25 acres of cement parking. Three installers showed up in their white cargo vans and they all nosed into the two docks. They opened up their back doors so they could get loaded from the rear. I yelled out the window and pointed at the two dock doors. Maybe it was that they didn't understand me or maybe they just didn't care. A shoulder shrug I got as a response.
I circled around the lot and parked right along side the row of vans, leaving only a 4 foot gap between the side of my trailer and their back doors. Not only could they no longer get loaded, but they were also blocked in from leaving. I got into the back of my trailer and broke down the pallet. It was only a few boxes but I think they understood my message.
UPS driver came by and stared at the whole mess and laughed the whole way back into his truck. I told him "this is what happens when you dock-block me". He high-fived me on the way out.MACK E-6, Gearjammin' Penguin, LtlAnonymous and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yea that sucks man. I hated that when I had a city job. Even worse when it’s at a place with only one dock and the same moron is parked there every time I went there. The dock was actually just for my company to make deliveries plus the place was on lock down. Had to bang on multiple doors and make phone calls.
