A/C? That’s when I take a layer off. I spend so much time out of the truck these days I forgot how to work it. Last nights route was 12 hours, 37 miles.

See, @Buckeye91 ? We're kinda spoiled.
Buckeye91 Thanks this. -
I couldn’t imagine being in a truck with no air. I’m sure everyone’s office has air. Why wouldn’t a drivers office have any.
Bob Dobalina Thanks this. -
My old truck in Montana had heat only. Granted, the summers in Montana are moderate with no humidity, but it still sucked on the hot days. I have no idea what I will do when I start my new job on. Tuesday and find myself in a truck with no AC.MACK E-6, Cardfan89 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Probably sweat a lot.road_runner, Cardfan89 and misterG Thank this.

Why would this truck not have AC?

I drove by a full grown bear this week and got scared. Not a state trooper, a big black bear. I was about a half mile from my first food delivery in Eau Claire, WI and that thing was trying to decide whether to cross the street or not. Luckily, that is the last I saw of it.
This is probably the one:

Hey road runner, when you were on the extraboard for line at reddaway what was that like? I'll be on the board when I start. Mostly I'm wondering about know when your days off are, how many days off you get, and if you ever don't get work on a day that you're scheduled off because there's not enough freight. I'd be out of the spokane one, not Montana but maybe it'd be similar

Mine was completely different than what you will probably see. But I ran Three Forks to Missoula and back Tuesday thru Friday, then Saturday I punched in on my 10 and ran to Billings and back. I was considered extra board but 95% of my weeks were all the same.
If the timing was perfect, I would be off Saturday night, all of Sunday and Monday before coming in Tuesday night to start all over. I am sure you will probably be doing a Missoula turn. If I remember their board, all the top guys wanted to go to Seattle or Canada.
We hauled alot of garbage freight (like literally junk clothing from Goodwill, and trailer loads of steel and used oil). You'll also be getting your fair share of tripling in with empties (which you will have to break at the state line off of Seltice Way). You will stay fairly busy.LtlAnonymous and Muttsley Thank this. -
He’s just nervous. A northern boy moving to the south might melt in that humidity.
@road_runner Watch out for the palmetto bugs.
LtlAnonymous and misterG Thank this.
