It's impossible. Every nuclear weapon is fission fusion device.

Little late to the party but the Fukishima information is spot on. I truly fear for Tokyo. It uses the same aquifer as Fukishima prefecture. God help them if that radioactive mass gets that far down.

I remember that movie.... after it aired my 7th grade science class was talking about nuclear war for an entire weak. Since my high school and the neighboring town was sitting near a brand new coal fired power plant, a Nike missile base, and an Air Force base (which kept two f16 fighters equipped with nuclear tipped air to air missiles for shooting down enemy ICBM’s, bombers and nuclear warheads, which no doubt would’ve been a suicide mission if ww3 broke out). All were considered prime targets for the soviets. This and the fact that Reagan has declared the USSR “the evil empire” after they had shot down a passenger airliner had everyone in the area on edge, so when this movie aired it frightened the bejesus out of me and the other kids in my class. I still remember a bad nightmare I had about it very clearly to this day.

    Heavy sigh...

There are no nuclear tipped air to air missiles.

All but one of the Nike bases were deactivated in 1974 as a result of the Anti-Balistic Missile Treaty with the Soviet Union. The last one was in Grand Forks, North Dakota. It was deactivated the following year because Congress didn't think it was worth the cost.
