The brand new trailers are starting to leave the nest and come out into the wild. This is it's first load.

See any new trucks? I’m thinking of going in and asking if I can get one. Because if I put my truck in the shop for a p.m and a couple weeks later they call me and tell me that trucks are available that’s not a very good return on investment for putting the truck in the shop and not getting that money back. Make sense? If I go in and ask and they say I won’t be able to get a truck for a month or two then I will be able to get my return on investment because it doesn’t make sense to put my truck in the shop for p.m. if I get a new truck because they’re going to do all that stuff anyway when I turn the truck in

And you’re gonna pay for it either way.CannonballAA and mdmgolfin Thank this.

They're going to hit you for any PMs that are close to do or overdue. it's up to you to be vigilant if you've gotten them done already whenever the invoice pops.
I had them try to charge me for a truck p.m. on a truck that only had 8,000 miles on its last PM. I got that money return to me.
Your maintenance account is going to take a hit either way when you upgrade.MachoCyclone, dhkwanderer and mdmgolfin Thank this. -
Also look at it this way... If you PM the truck and then you upgrade you were going to have to PM anyways...and you're going to get a new truck which Will be at the beginning of a PM cycle just as if you PM your own so you're really not losing anything....Technically.
Jarhed1964, scottied67 and mdmgolfin Thank this.
