You'll have to do Class A tractor trailers. Forget straight trucks.
Me... with my experience Class A OTR. Beyond that. Only the smart ones recognize some experience with Class B I have....Only because I put it as 50K pounds on 3 axles, in the Black Hills for 7 years. Then they recognize I have more experience with weight and ice and hills. Besides... straight truck is tricky on ice...there isn't enough of the weight on the steers... makes it tough.
You might have to consider OTR for a while. Just to get the experience. Big Brown is a lofty goal. Worth making sacrifice to get to them.

Would hauling mail be possible anyone know? idk the requirements maybe as a contractor or something I know some people haul it and at least you would get an idea what UPS have you do. other option would get 1-year exp at somewhere with OTR.

It's a real shame that you cannot go from military life to the civilian world and have it count as exp I know a lot friends have this issue. The smarter ones stay to retire from then get another job any really as another paycheck.

Yeah I spent 5 years in the Military and am getting out with 0 transferable experience and am essentially competing with my peers that mostly got real world job experience or went to college.

My job in the military doesn’t transfer into the civilian sector so I am basically SOL.

The beverage company has a night route that’s 2100-2400 miles a week at .40CPM and is local. I might do that just to get experience.

To be honest.... If you did make the sacrifice and train with JB Hunt or Yellow, OTR. Those are good companies. You will eventually be able to get something with them LTL (which is local). You might be happy there. Forget about Big Brown?

beverage company seems what you want or is it local? because I don't know where you live because your gonna get to age we all don't want to admit it but older we get even soldiers your gonna want something less physical. I would sooner work local for a swift, knight knowing I won't be unloading the stuff to a store.
Plus they have p/h rates too getting 60 hour weekly was common so the Overtime what make your pay.
Me personally if I am gonna be home every night I want hourly not cents per miles.

Where at? I looked all over and everyone wanted you to be 23 or have a year experience.

I hear you but might have better options Chinatown might be able to point you the right direction and still be home every night.

Unfortunately everything suggested wants 1 year of experience.

I might just work for the beverage company driving nights making $800 a week just to get some time.

I hear UPS hires frantically seasonal employees around Xmas. I am hoping I can get there and show them I bust my ###.
