Possible but that grant is bound by federal rules.

Nevertheless just write your own prehire. Problem solved.

Believe it or not every state has different laws about CDL's I'm from Pennsylvania just 20 miles from the Delaware Memorial bridge my friend got 7 points and Pa let him go to a safe driving course and removed some points and he had to retake the the knowledge tests and he was a veteran driver. Check your driving record again costs around $30 for your 10 year history usually for every year you go without a points violation they remove 1 point. In 6 months last year I received 2 high speed ticket violations 1 in Ga 15 over and 1 in Ca 20 over neither one ever showed up on my record but I called both and worked out something usually with the courts money talks ######## walks if you are willing to pay you can usually get things done just by talking with them and working out a deal. By the way I have been trucking since 1987 and all my rigs run big power 100+ mph not to show off but to get the job done try not getting bunched in with a lot of these clowns on the road today if one messes up you don't want to be mixed in with them just friendly advice

That doesn’t seem to be a different law for cdl, but more a different law for points. In my opinion every state pretty much follows the guidelines federally required for a cdl and don’t really vary. The state requirements and testing is pretty much the same in each state.

In Ohio we do point buffers no removals. So if you have 6 points for example and take the class you still have 6 points they just amonoy recognize 4. But the points are still on your license regardless. Plus most insurance companies use their own rules in regards to counting points or rating points. So if it’s in your mvr the insurance company normally counts it.

Another example of this is Ohio counts points for 2 years but they release 3 year mvr. If you got a 2 point violation 30 months ago and nothing else, legally you have 0 point but in the he eyes of commercial insurance you got 2 points

I have one point...26 mph over
66 in a 40...1 point. Should I pay it immediately and go to school, or fight it down to the 21mph I was told when I got ticket. I just noticed it says 66.

Heh, apparently in Louisiana we dont have a points system for our licenses. At least, I've never heard of it. I've had a string of out if state tickets, one in state, and even a reckless op, never heard of any mention of points. My last infraction was over 5 years ago though.

Fight it, then just deal with the outcome.

Try this, show up in court, say you're guilty, but you don't think you were going that speed. They'll ask what speed you think you were going.. they had me at 65 in a 45, I said I think I was going 55. He said Alright. You were going 55. 10 over is better than 20 over by a lot.

Someone else suggested legal advise. You can get a lawyer to try and reduce the fines to non moving violations, but be prepared to pay well.., maybe couple K

Well I have 6 points on my driver record 2 for speed (not 15 over) and 4 for improper passing(accident). I want to get my CDL back since I downgraded a 2 months ago but I feel like those 6 points are going to stop me dead in my tracks.

see if an attorney will try to fight it for you. 26 miles over the speed limit don't they consider that a misdemeanor I know in some states you would normally get handcuffed.
