I hope I haven't been doing my taxes wrong. I'm not sure if my truck note is written like a lease or not.

 

Do you have a buy out or balloon payment at the end of your term? If not, more than likely it's a loan.

 

Which is why I said use a small institution so you can be face to face with the loan officer instead of dealing with a big lender who uses a computer model to weed out 90% of the applications

 

Is the house your trying to get the one on the lake you previously posted about or did you find another?

 

You should be correct if you put the truck loan under the company name then your personal income come is the profit your company makes shone on the 1099 made to you

 

When I bought my first house after becoming an owner operator. I went to my local bank and and asked them what would be needed to qualify. I was told 3 years tax returns and they would add depreciation and per diem back in. I was a couple years out from buying so for the next couple years I paid taxes on things I normally would write off, boosting my income in the banks eyes.

Things got easier thru the years as figured out trucking and life

 

Heard today that some of the Big Shots at Mercer were walking around the lot and some of the trucks that were in desperate need of cosmetic repairs had X's placed on them, those drivers were informed that it either gets fixed or your gone...

Gonna be tighten things up here is some other chatter I've been hearing...

Maybe. I dont think they are expecting showroom floor trucks, just want them maintained like they should be.
