I was looking online, Koh Phangan looks to be like a 11 hour drive from Bangkok plus however long the boat ride to the island is... I'm assuming that's where you fly into?

Reading some google reviews Koh Phangan is called the "Party Island" by many... Sounds like it must be a good time...

The scenery and food look amazing that's for sure!!!

Do you guys think those windshield sun shades would work better on keeping the inside of the truck cooler then just the curtains that pull across the windshield and doors?

 

Your talking about the sunshades that are like tinfoil? I think they help.

 

Yes they do. I have the ones that are specifically made for my truck and they are about 10 times thicker than the tin foil kind you normally find. They make a huge difference. But you can't get them for $12.99 or however cheap the tin foil ones cost. I had the tin foil one at first and it served it's purpose but these work much better. I've got the one that fits the windshield and one for each side window that are made to fit my daylight doors.

 

Yeah like $100 thinking of buying them. 111 outside and truck is showing almost 90 inside

APU not able to get it cooler than that? Do you have bunk curtains to atleast keep that area cooler than the entire truck with the APU?
