I was just thinking about what I would do if I was sleeping at night in a truck by myself and someone tried to break in. I guess blowing my horn wouldn't get me anything more than a few curses in my memory huh?

That would scare the hell out of me. I should probably carry around some pamphlets about various STDs that contain graphic pictures then give one to any lot lizard that annoys me.

there is no comradery between truckers any more.my mom and dad drove otr for years and if they were to see the way people act now a days they would be sick !the days of drivers pulling over help each other or god forbid 4 wheelers is over now its the all about me attitude, its a shame.

Uh, man, have you not been paying attention the last 20 years? The main reason drivers don't help 4 wheelers any more is because of the sickos, robberies, and jacking. But yea, you're right about truckers not helping truckers...but also understanding that schedules are tight, money is hard won, and most drivers I imagine simply can't afford the time if they want to keep their now very unsteady jobs.
Now if you put your busty blonde GF out on the shoulder...watch the rubber burn!

I did that before because some stupid ##### swift drivers don't know how to park right take up 1 1/2 parkings and then there is no way for you to get in.

Help for Hogs usually comes along fairly quick. Now if you're on a ricer, you might be there all night. Robbers will use a 4 wheeler on the back roads to set up someone, and I'm loathe to stop unless the Spirit is willing. And sometimes it is, but I'll listen to God first, rather than risk my truck/tools/life being a samaritan. I feel safer helping a biker, but that's because I always was one myself.
