    Is your FM the same as my FM? The Fleet Manager?
    I seldom get a pplan from my FM, because that is not their job.
    The computer or area planners send me loads, sometimes my DM. And sometimes my TM is bored or filling in and sends me stuff.

    I have no idea who your FM is. But they are the ones that ultimately send us the pre plans. It's part of his job to get the load planners "on it" for lack of better word. He also knows what I don't want, and tells the planners accordingly.

    Example: I picked up a load in Kent, Wa Friday going to Salt Lake City. Due Monday morning and no weekend delivery. Knowing I'd be there Saturday afternoon, I hammered him to get me a load and drop mine in SLC. He found me a repower going to the city of lost angels for Monday morning. I'm in Utah now, planning to park in Barstow, leave 4am, arrive 6 to 0630, 90 minutes before appointment. I'll drop this trailer at the yard for new brakes. He'll have a load for me before I get there.

    You leave Barstow at 4am. You easily may not make it to City of LA till 8 or 9am.
    Get to City of LA by 4am. You'll thank me. You can sleep there. Can't sleep in a traffic jam.

    Cebu is where I'm retiring . Town called Argao, about 2 hrs south of the city. Or 50 miles by Filipino transport standards. lol
