    ok well ive been out here for almost 3yrs now otr and my goal is to own my own truck run it my self or to with landstar or mercer.... heres the problem i dont really have the credit or the cosigner to jus got to the bank n geti a decent truck so i guess im left with this lease purchase thing the whole idea of being commited to a company oy 2-3 years scare me so im trying to do my homework first ne one know of a trucking comany thay has a good lease purchase program

    Neither L/S or Mercer offer a lease purchase on trucks..

    I'm with Mercer and they did help with a trailer if you needed one.. But I think they are getting out of the trailer business. At least that's the rumor I've heard? Reguardless w/ Mercer you have to have your own trailer in order to lease on to them..

    L/S.. they'll let you run theirs or rent say a flatbed or step.. (You'll still need your own equipment, chains, straps, tarps, binders, ect.)

    I don't know anyone that has a "good" lease purchase.. I personaly don't belive there is any such animal!

    i knew mecer or l/s didnt have l/p i guess i shoulda worded my ? better i was looking for a company with l/p to buy a truck so i could lease it to l/s or mecer after i got it paid for ...... but thanx for your reply
