Anyone else goin to C1-Indy on this date?
Supposedly "pre-hired" by USA Truck.
Anyone that has attended C1-Indy,do I have to find transportation to and from motel to the training facility?
are there any additional "hidden cost's"??
Thanks

I would call them up and ask about the transportation issues. They probably have a van or something to pick you up. What did they say about job prospects?

They are on the south-eastern side of indy. They were fairly organized about everything. Here is a fair warning when you do your driving test. There are school zones on both side of their test facilities. DO NOT SPEED through there. You will fail right there. I only did the week long course there so I drove there daily, lived 40 miles away.

Hey tshultz, looks like we will probably be in class together. I will be calling Driver Solutions tomorrow to confirm. I will be driving up from southwestern Indiana so I will have my car there obviously. Don't know if I will be staying at the motel or not. My sister lives in indy so I may be staying with her........er um actually I PROBABLY will be staying with her. The first time I talked to the recruiter he said I would need to bring enough money for food for three weeks. Thats all I know bout "hidden" costs. Look forward to seeing you there.

i just finished C1 in indy a week and a half ago.....yes theres school zones on both sides....when you are with the trainer they want you to follow those school zone speed limits, if you the front of your tractor passes the 25mph school zone sign and you are going 26mph they say you will automatically fail
but when i took my CDL test, as i was doing my commentary i was saying "approaching a school zone speed limit will be 25 mph im gonna start my downshift" he basically told me ignore the school zone, its summer and schools out
C1 was a good school and i liked it alot but i dont know about the transportation thing, i live here in indy.....but i never saw anybody getting dropped off in a van or anything the students just rode together
