Once again it boils down to the driver. If you let people take advantage of you they will, If you stand up for yourself they won't. You seem like the kind that's scared of the otr lifestyle so you can't stand when others suggest it's better than ltl

I thought that photo was fake, because I usually have 6 ladies in my entourage and it looked like 4 in that photo. Then I looked closer. Yep, 6. Just one of the perks of a handsome LTL man headed to his "chariot of respect."

You are right. I am scared of otr. I'm scared of being poor...I'm scared of turning into a fat piece of crap for sitting for hours at a receiver doing nothing for free everyday. I'm scared if being seat meat like swift drivers....I don't want or need my ### kissed and I certainly don't need a thank you for doing my job but it is nice to be compensated for the work I do. It's nice sleeping in a hotel instead of the truck. So you are right...I am scared of that lifestyle. I have expensive hobbies (cars and guitars) and a expensive house that I could never afford on swift money so you are right, it boils down to the driver. Want to sit at a dock all day hoping you get $50 in detention pay or do you want to be in your Porsche down at Sebring? I'll take the second option. But you said otr pays just as well so I'll call on @Russian Rabbit to throw his catch phrase in here lol. I normally bust his balls about it but I think it is appropriate here lol

 

Hell yeah. But hotels do get old though. I sometimes get tired of it.

 

Agreed. I would much rather be home but it beats sleeping in a truck in a pee lot
