Ok folks it's time to renew my Rx. Thinking about these drivewear lenses. Does anybody have experience with them?

    G13Tomcat Thanks this.

Transition lenses are fine but they say not to wear the driverwear lenses at night. I am considering them too.

I always have two pair of glasses on the truck. Clear lenses for nights and Oakley sunglasses for day. Yes, the Oakleys are more expensive but, unlike most other frames, the prescription goes around your peripheral. I had the transition type lenses but after time they didn't go completely clear anymore.

These drivewear are supposed to act different than regular transition.

My problem with transition lenses is they didn't go dark enough. You're sitting back in the shade.

I'm flatbed, I'm also in direct sunlight. With Oakleys, I'm able to drive directly into the sun with barely a squint. As sensitive as my eyes are to light, that's saying something.

I just got new glasses. They may be the drive wear you speak of.

The will dim behind windshield, in the rain, and cut down on headlights.

They are the cats meow, and the only way to fly.

They ain't cheap, and they are worth every penny.

I'm thinking of letting my cat drive at night. No need for headlights.

I think drivewear is a brand, but it sounds like the same stuff. Original transitions were triggered by uv. They don't work in a vehicle cuz windshield blocks those rays. This new technology reacts to brightness. Thanks for the feedback Dave.

    They are worth every penny.

I got mine at Northern Eye Care in Phoenix.

    Most complete eye exam ever.

They could tell you exactly what they are.
