June 1st my wife noticed a swelling on my 11yr old daughters big toe. Late July it was diagnosed as a bone spur. Went to see Orthopedic surgeons in every major hospital within 150 mile radius. Ottawa and Toronto said 6 month wait. Kingston says hopefully next month. They say the operating rooms are all booked up but Ivthink that’s BS because our little local hospital doesn’t even do operations anymore so the rooms are unused. Tax funded healthcare is great until you need it. But it’s “free”.
