    I second that.

One old rule in school back in the day:

"You will miss them by this much."

And how. Probably scared them really bad enough to stop their hearts and freeze their souls. But you will miss them by this much if you are any good.

Its not fun at all. I once missed a 10 speed bike rider by about a foot roughly. Its a wonder the aerodynamic pressure of me at 50 plus did not throw his body under my trailer tandems...

Sorry, but if you care that little about your appearance, your level of professionalism, you aren't going to care about the life of someone you don't even know you are putting in danger with your reckless habits either. You can't judge a book by it's cover, but the cover gives a pretty #### good indication of the content of the pages.

Never say never. @stayinback reflects my views too.

None of us will be watching videos, but you see those ‘big rig’ lawyers?

Accident not your fault, in comes lawyer, finds the smallest thing -

    Trucks, trailers, house - gone.

Risk increases, Reward decreases. Every, single, day.

If his truck has the Driver Assistance the truck could have stopped it's self. I thought all Prime trucks had that or he had older system of any. My 2020 Freightliner with Driver Assistance 4.0 can stop the truck if it see slow or stopped traffic. The Adaptive Cruse control will also see stopped or slow traffic and slow the truck down. If driver doesn't to anything you get a Collision Warning. Then the computers will apply the brakes and stop the truck.

That’s why I drive like my family is in the car in front, beside, and in back of me. Knock on wood, I have had my CDL since 95’ I’ve never had an accident or moving violation. Is driving on these interstates a dangerous job, yep. Especially with all the distracted drivers on the road today, but we as “professionals” accept that responsibility of the job.

    I agree....

Could you imagine the carnage if some these drivers today had to actually use instinct or common sense??

Not saying all New drivers are bad- There's plenty of good ones....
