CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

56 mile trip out of Waverly, back to Waverly, and heading to Montana. A little late in the year to be above I 10....what wh this world coming to?

2500 this week all for the Waverly/waco folks. The drivers dedicated to those two DCs probably didn't get that many miles!

 

Pickup in Patterson,ca tonight for a 1600 mile run to Texas bringing me to 3500 miles for the week. Whew haven't seen a 3000+ mile week in over a month! Slept at the Fontana yard last night and it was windy as heck. Woke up with sand thrown around my cab... None you can actually see but definitely feel... I just put a new. Air filter in less than 2 months ago... I'll only be running recirculated ac in dusty area anymore...

 

We just missed you apparently just pulled into fontana.

 

Delivered in Redlands, found out our load we were supposed to pick up just east of DowntoWn LA got cancelled. (I'm struggling to hold back the tears) haha. Picking up a new load in Fontana, taking it to Phoenix for an AM delivery. Then heading down to good ole Nogales (barf), taking that to Jopmo so I can enjoy some quality time with my FM. Can't wait.

I wonder how I could get onto a dedicated run? I love me some tractor supply loads. I’ve mad friends with several stores and the NE distribution center guards/manager
Them and Nissan I’ve managed to make friends with most of the worker I see every time I’m there.

 

Well, apparently idk how to read, tried to deliver the load today and uh, was informed by the guards I don't deliver until tomorrow morning at 0900, thinking this was a mistake I check my dispatch. Sure enough were here a day early. Facepalm moment for sure. Been sitting at the J in Phoenix since 0930. Its cool though, been playing borderlands 3 all day and just order some panda Express from Uber eats. Nice chill day!

 

I find the fact that the farm I delivered to the day before yesterday actually bad the nerve to write "driver no assist" on the bills? Lmao that's not my job unless you ask me buddy. Not one person of your 5 guys unloading my trailer asked me to help... Even then I think we are only obligated to help with tire loads if asked...

 

Ask your fm what fleets are there...it's based on where you live I'm sure.
