Try typing in air conditioner and/or generator into the search field up top. Plenty of drivers have posted their cooling solution.
Probably the cheapest way would be to buy a $350 3000 watt generator from a hardware store, bolt it down to your catwalk and then buy a $350+ portable air conditioner that will sit in the passenger seat. What you'll have to do is set up the exhaust hose every day you want to use it and vent the hot air out the window. Cut a custom piece of plywood for the window opening with the right sized hole for the exhaust hose and seal it all up good.
On very hot days 100+ it won't work very well. It shines when the sun goes down or on days 90 degrees or less.

I saw a Swifty using a generator on his catwalk and a cheap Wally window unit in the pass window
Less than 500 bucks but sure looked funky and cheap generators ain't known for being quiet.scottied67 Thanks this. -
There isn't an effective A/C that runs off the cig lighter.Snailexpress Thanks this.

Ya cigarette lighter feeling on truck will only put out 150-400 watts. U need at least 1500-2000 to use a true a/c system

I placed the LG LP1017WSR 115V on the RV, it can run long, wind and cooling speed are very good. I am not sure if this portable AC will run on the truck, maybe you should consult the seller.

Wow. Talk about bringing a thread back to life lol.

I would love to see how the suits put up with no heating and no cooling between 34 and 75 in their building.
