There is a curmudgeon in every neighborhood. My father in law had one in his neighborhood griping about the same thing. It’s like really? You bought the stuff to give away, right?

 

man, we always did that as kids. We knew which neighborhoods to hit up and which ones to ignore.

And yeah, no costume, no candy

great costume, extra candy.

when they ring the bell and sayd "trick or treat" just say "trick"
and watch them stand there with mouths open.
ummmmmmmmmmmm, what now?
gimme the candy mister.
nope, you gave me a choice, and i choose trick. so pony up.

Just got a packet in the mail, UPS is buying pensions out. I'll have to call, I'm curious to see what they have to say. Not really interested in selling it but curious how much they pay out.

 

If anyone else gets this DO NOT look I to it and see the one time payment lol. It will make you start to wonder what what to go on the matter lol. Kinda wish I hadn't done that.

 

Got surprised by some freezing rain and snow tonight on 80. Guess it’s just a taste of what’s coming....

oh winter is here. First time since I’ve lived here 3 storms in 1 week. 8”, 12”, and another 12” coming in Denver. Worst I’ve had it was back to back weekends never in a week. I80 Wyoming been closing all week. I’ve shoveled probably 16” of snow in the last day with a foot coming to the city. Glad they cancelled me.
