CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Yep all good finally, went for my med card got stopped and told I needed to be tested for sleep apnea. Tested positive, now I get to sound like Darth Vader when I sleep. Got stuck with a 3mo card, so I can prove i can stay compliant for a month. Then I can go back for a 1yr card.

Hit the road and they gave a good preplan, 4200 miles worth.

jopmo to west Memphis
West Memphis to Monroe, OH
Monroe, OH to Topeka
Junction City to NJ
Canaan, CT to NC
NC to Dallas.

Heading home so I can only assume they are gonna have us go to Waco and drop a load in some podunk town on the way to bomb city

 

Nice... not complaining about pre-plan lately. I'm two days from Laredo and already have a plan to get out.

 

Kinda crappy they only have you 3 months.. smh in expecting the same now when I go to renew next July...

 

It's not bad, takes a min to get used to. But still blows because with it you can only get 1yr cards

That's one thing that always shocks the Nurses when I go, they're always surprised that I have good blood pressure for a big dude.

 

3465 miles this week. Whew after my previous 4 paychecks I'm pretty happy for a change.

 

Update gave me another 2020 international 05195 14k miles . I get a load from rock wall Texas to north Sioux Falls South Dakota get to customer trailer is double stacked so customer takes 27 pallets and can’t take the other 27 pallets so I get sent back to rockwall Texas to shipper guess what not open on weekend just my luck and 28 hrs of drive time wasted lol 1710 round trip guess better than nothing sit and wait at terminal till Monday what a week turned out to be lol keep in touch soon

 

Flying vajayjay, orange Texas. Deliver .to Laredo tomorrow...pre-plan to new orleans that actually came in yesterday.

New Orleans could be dicey...could be a modern warehouse or older place on narrow one way streets...could be exciting.. maybe I'll see Lady Marmelade
