That's the holding area. A lot of Coca-Cola facilities have some really terrible docking areas meant for day cabs with 48 footers., but their holding areas are ok, or even spacious.

It's our daily load lot. These are all the day routes we load up every night. It's super tight in here, this was meant to be a parking lot for cars lol. We are only here until we merge a few buildings and build a huge dc... hopefully it will be a lil roomier then.

To those saying that having the tandems forward means you need less space in front - not quite.

It depends on how wide the hole is. 130 inches plus then it is true because you have space to let the trailer turn inside the spot.

Less than 120 inches then you need to have most of the trailer straight before entering, thus the tandems need to be pivoting well in front of the spot.

And for the 110 inch spots - you will need the same space in front as you would if the tandems were all the way back.

All the way back , you don't have to worry about tail swings and its easier to correct mistakes

I run mine forward until I get things lined up then slide then all the way to the rear.
I tend to be a little longer than your average mega fleeter.....just a little
