Less than stellar record? According to whom? Have you seen my record? I've had a few bad experiences and shared them here, kept all claims documented and can prove everything I post. Not sure what you mean here.

I totally accept there are risks to 1099 but these guys on this "only dummies go 1099" deal, pretending like 300 truck W2 outfits aren't out here doing things like leaving drivers stranded 2k miles from home, 1-3 weeks in the hole are giving me a SERIOUS laugh right now!!!

I stay working. I have periods like this where it takes a few to find a good long term fit but my MVR is spotless and I have no issue providing professional references for my performance and work ethic.

I can warn other drivers about the company, like I'm doing now instead of playing corporate schill and twlling drivers to just "deal with" their money being stolen. These same folks wouldn't tell a bank to "deal with" a bank robbery. 1099 or W2 not paying a man for his work should be punished just Like you or I would be for writing a bad check. Drivers have been "taking it" for decades hence why we have most of the issues we have now, from shipper/receivers wasting our time to companies pocketing detention pay and putting drivers in bad equipment to cut corners. I'm going to say something any time I come across a company that screws working men and don't care who has an issue with it.

This "ain't my problem! Didn't affect me!" Attitude is why bump stocks got banned and why the 2A is in trouble. So many of these "Molon Abe" types had nothing to say about this CLEAR 2A violation because "Pfffft.....I don't even use bump stocks".

I'm a Conservative thats passionate about wage theft. We can't tell folks to "get off their butts and be productive" if we won't make sure that person is paid for their work they do. It can't be "get with the program contribute to society" when its time to work but "wild wild west every man for himself" when it's time to pay the man. That's crap.

Drivers with common sense don't go to 1099s that's Chicago boy silliness. Rookies go to megas to start , dummy's grab some zip ties and head to the 1099 club. You have to be below your means to go 1099 that's like stealing a candy bar from a car in a parking lot

I agree that its crap that people.dont get their money.....but you have so much anger here. Ifs happened to me in the past and the stress of fighting these folks ain't worth it. Everyone handles things differently so I understand. For me, I pick and choose battles. There times when I will fight, and times when I walk, or run, away. One thing you'll have to realize, and I think you've slick realized it in your previous posts....trucking is trucking. 1099 or W2, they are all the same. I dont know if there is truly a "perfect fit" in trucking. It's more of a matter of, "I can make this work." That's about the only to succeed in this industry is to "make it work."

It's nothing wrong with working 1099, it's better than sitting at home doing nothing. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Been there. Initially untaxed money looks good, but it cant be a lifelong career. I liken this to selling drugs on the street. Its fast money, but the problem with fast money is that as quickly as it comes, it goes even faster. Not as much discipline involved. To each their own, but like I said, you have to know what you're getting into.

Not all 1099s are bad, and not all W2s are good. But I mean, given your "Ban Islam" profile pic, I see you have a habit to generalizing whole groups based on a few bad apples, so I won't really waste my time on you. Blaming all Muslims for a few is no different than claiming all whites are racists because of a few or all Christians are evil because of a few. And I don't think you'd be okay with that. Thanks for the response.
