Flying out to XNA today. Unfortunately I have to switch planes in Chicago. Thanks for all the info. You’ve all made me feel a little more comfortable.

Good luck. Both of our local CDTs are there. Let us know what you think about walking into the building on the first day.
I flew from Indianapolis, and also had to switch in Chicago at OHare. I had zero time, and my other gate was what seemed to be 3 miles. That was my first time ever flying by myself. Every other time was for the military, and we had people telling us where to go, and what to do.
Keep us updated as to how your week goes. And it's easy for us to say, but don't stress over it. Just have fun, and enjoy the experience. Also, I believe you're the last group to go through onboarding before they level that place. Starting next week, it'll be done in Arizona. I would have appreciated that warmth, but it's all good. lolT.Rucker, laaylor and truckdriver31 Thank this. -
What DC are you at again? You hit it on the head, these CDTs are top notch professionals and they are here to help. I feel they want us all to succeed. I think I heard there may be one more Onboarding but I may be wrong too. The introduction today was wild!! So many years of WM driving and even more total years of driving. Blew me away.richardc, truckdriver31 and laaylor Thank this.

New receiving clerk at 4574 called me unruly over the PA system crying for a manager because I didn't pull out my badge quick enough because it's cold out. Good thing Cynthia, the manager, knows me by face. Guess things like this happen when you chase off 2 people with 50 years of working for the company. New people so uptight for no reason.

Yes. Not my favorite store but almost all the stores know me because i leave a great impression on everyone i meet. Except for the driver i work with that apparently loves talking about me behind my back. Glad other drivers came to me and let me know. Some of you guys are extremely immature and need to get some hobbies. But majority of you, i would love to grab a drink with.

Greencastle, IN. How’d your week go? I’m in a hotel. My truck broke down last night, and the shop it got towed to won’t be open till Monday morning. So looks like I’ll end up being on down time for about 30 hours before they start working on it. Good thing my go home day isn’t till Tuesday. I’m not a fan of sitting in a hotel all day, but at least I’ll learn how the downtime pay works.tommysb1 and truckdriver31 Thank this.
