At $30/hr I'll come run a truck for the OP. Fyi op trucks get their best fuel mileage at 58mph. So umm I can knock out that round trip in about 60hrs. Sound good boss?

If I had to guess, I would say they might save 50k a year in the 1st few years in costs, but the added complexities of operating that truck will quickly make that savings seem not as attractive.Midwest Trucker and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

Best way for this guy to cash in on this would be to have his wife or trusted relative get broker authority and bid each job a few bucks below the other brokers.
