I know I'm way late but I was bored on my 10 hr browsing through threads. I think speedway is either in the process or already has made a merger with Pilot/Flying J, all the speedways pop up on my PFJ app now. Personally I wish Speedway would open up bigger fuel stations and join the truck stop gang

Speedway used to have truck stops, but there was some kind of buy out, merger something with Pilot years ago like around 2000 or so, don't remember exactly. But Pilot ended up the truck stops and in some places you had 2 pilots right across the street from each other until they started closing some of the older ones, that's way before they took out Flying J

I have noticed that. I wish Pilot would get their #### together and make their places bigger. Places like Hagerstown MD and Erie PA are always totally full no matter what time you go there. TA's are usually a lot bigger but pretty much every one I've stayed at has been filthy

Let me rephrase that. The Pilot in Hagerstown exit 5B off I-81 is a new one

Speedway LLC. Is a wholly owned by Marathon Petroleum. They haul to Speedway stores only. A few tankers are dedicated to go load ethanol.Speedway transport has nothing to be with Marathon Oil.
Marathon drivers are maybe paid a little more than we are in the Lima area, so expect 80K a year starting out.
I go by 2 of their racks coming in and out of our plant, I've never saw a truck saying "Speedway Transport ".
Possibly you're looking at the tankers themselves, they say Speedway and whatever other livery they are running.
