@OLDSKOOLERnWV, your “tractor man” comment got me thinking about the first time I saw a truck and tractor pull. Showed up for the show, and guess what I saw in the parking lot?
The old sheet metal GraveDigger. I liked the old sheet metal monster trucks.

 

spent a year with the ex living in Bradenton off 59th ST Sw

commuted everyday to Sarasota for work.... couldn’t tell ya much good about Bradenton in hindsight.

And here I was thinking I knew what was happening for once..
Welp, the sun will rise, & I'll live another day..

Went with the pulled pork & shredded brisket today..
Now I'm jealous of the hunk of cow on @stwik table..

 

Well if you ever find yourself in Napavine, WA forget the Loves on the east of I-5 that every swinging dick goes to. You go to the Chevron and park your behind at the bar in Ramblin Jacks.

Saturday night I watched Monster Jam on TV religiously as a kid. Tom Meents and Dennis Anderson were THE guys to beat back then. The old Goldberg truck and Grave Digger are as iconic as Big Foot in the monster truck world IMO.

 

Bulldozer / el toro loco

were more my style growing up. Granted I think I missed the prime monster truck years.
