If I keep getting these heavy arse loads like this, that might be what my equipment will look like. Hard to believe that a 579 Pete with those big sleepers are lighter than a Pinnacle.

Spec'g and the type of trailer as well. I know at Magnum, with their 579's I could put 45,500-46 in their reefer with half tanks

Strange things you see on the road. Yesterday, at the MS welcome center on I-22 (use to be US 78), I stopped for a quick restroom break. As I was walking to the building from the truck lot, I notice an older lady over in the dog walking area with what appeared to be the ugliest dog I had ever seen...until I got close enough to realize, it wasn't a dog, but a full size GOAT...on a leash. Now, this lady wasn't some local country hick, she was wearing fancier clothes than I wear when Mrs. Snackbar and I go to dinner on my hometime. Plus, when I looked around, there wasn't any kind of livestock trailer or any other type vehicle that could be used to transport a goat in the back...she must be traveling with it in the passenger compartment of a normal vehicle. And this wasn't a small little goat like you see on AFV getting scared and falling over, this was a normal size floppy ear adult billy goat. Unfortunately, I had my phone on charge in the truck, and she was gone when I came out. So, I don't have photo proof...but it was real...really, I wasn't seeing things...honest.

To tell you how disorganized this place is...I asked last Friday about delivering on Monday instead of Tuesday like we were asked to do by our so-called leader. All I got was, 'emailed them, will let you know', which didn't happen...not a yes or no...just crickets chirping. Asked this a.m. if they had heard back about the early del, was told 'go in and try'. Not wanting to piss off customers by showing up a day early, I generally try not to 'just go in' because we have some customers who have specific appointments, and get bent out of shape if you show up a day early. But, since dispatch said to do it, I went. I was empty by 13:30 Monday. I kept dispatch in the loop the whole time...'yes they're gonna unload me today', 'backed in and unstrapped', 'half unloaded', 'empty and waiting to hear which way to go'...At 15:00 I messaged them with 'I still have hours to run it they'd make up their mind which way'. I got a reply (as if no other message I sent was read), 'will find out, headed to a meeting right now'. So now I sit...with hometime scheduled this next weekend and I have to wait...I guess keeping OP's in the loop was a waste of Peoplenet data

    *Update

Around 1600 my DM msg'd asking when I thought I would be empty...WTF????!!!!!! I said 3 hours ago, and mentioned that I was told then that someone was checking on which direction I was to head next. And that I was also about to start deadheading home and say F it. I also expressed my attitude about how much of a waste of Peoplenet data it is keeping Op's informed when nobody seems to pay attention to updates. Ended up being sent to Church Hill, but by the time I found out, half my day was shot...and my temper was heating up. And for those that might be easily offended by suggestive adult innuendos - stop reading now...because one is coming up next...These people are so screwed up, they'd F up a wet dream.
