Well stuck in Kentucky atm here in horse cave at the loves then back to Franklin ky for the shop on monday crappy miles this week hope it's a easy fix

 

Got to customer in chicago at 0715 for an 0800 appointment... Customer isn't open on weekends. Dispatch tells me to wait until tomorrow and no confirmation on detention pay and preplan removed. Head to the nearest pilot at 0815 and the place is jammed packed . One spot left got it. Found out it's reserved. Went in and bought it. The last remaining reserved parking for the evening at 0830 smh lol. Oh and the parking cost 22 dollars... Wow

 

85 degrees in Laredo...guess I'm not in Wyoming anymore! Taking tomorrow off to do social security and Medicare calls. Every time I call, those guys call back when I'm sleeping or navigating a tight spot and their message is always to call back on the 800 number...facepalm...

 

What’s been going on with dispatch? Things have been real slow like cerb said. Sitting 1-2days a week. Getting appointment times when customers are closed etc.

 

Its seasonal...farms will get productive, then refer companies will quit hauling dry freight, and we'll be busy again.

 

Woohoo got my truck fix yesterday 525 bucks ouch rubbed wires and sensor now in princeton ky getting loaded going to alachua Florida be there tomorrow sometime 825 miles total not bad coming off a 34 hr reset

 

Finally got a hold of someone at TX DPS office. Turns out there was a paperwork mess up on their end, and my wife's hazmat info didn't get forwarded to the TSA *insert eye roll* so they forwarded it today and hopefully we will hear back something soon. All were waiting for is her hazmat. Application, drug test and background has been done with the company we are driving for. The owner is really dying to get us on the road.
