I don’t know your specific circumstances but I would honestly hang in there where you are currently for your retirement. Especially if the benefits are good. Then when your retirement is 110% I would try to get into a “No-Touch” or “Transfer Driver” with Dot Foods. Dot is a great company but some of these deliveries can be absolutely brutal, breaking down pallets that can have up to 400 different items on one trailer. And then you have to deal with how the customer wants the cases arranged and how high they can go on each pallet.SAR and Crusader66 Thank this.

I had that also but let it go, regrettably, shouldn't be an issue getting it again when and if I need too.SAR Thanks this.

Appreciate your input. I did the block and tier thing for years when I was doing Upstate NY, NYC and the boroughs, Connecticut, Mass, NJ, Baltimore and DC warehouses and the Union guys who were the checkers also, so I know what your saying, it can be a booger.
I was just wanting a little insight, more than what I have read and I appreciate it. I need to talk to the financial adviser to see where I stand and go from there.
Safe travels and have a great day! -

Got my hazmat endorsement yesterday and going on an overnight ride along today out of Brookhaven MS. I-55 goes through my hometown so we are linking up here. I’m looking forward to seeing how things operate.
Crusader66 Thanks this. -
I interviewed for a student driver position back in January and didn't get it (bombed scenario portion of it)
Now in CDL school and wondering if I should reapply but hate the idea of being stuck in the Midwest (Indy).
How hard is it to transfer to somewhere like Vegas or bullhead City? -
Bullhead City it’s good. The just started with the extension from the warehouse. They need drivers I work out in LA but they bring me the load from bullhead down to LA
Great dispatch great manegment -
Last year I turned down a job at DOT to go work for another company. When that imploded on me 17 days later, I went back to DOT groveling for a second chance. I was told that I was “tainted” and I’d have to do no less than 2 issue free years at another company before I’d be considered for another job.
Good luck reapplying. -
If you don't mind, what was the scenario portion? What did they ask you?
