How much cat yellow spray paint for the motor?

id say 5 for a good layer, make sure u wash all grease and dirt or it wont stick

 

i agree with at least 5. I have painted mine and still looks pretty after 2 years. 2 coats

 

I got into #8 on this one and part of the pan could probably use another coat.

 

That sure is a purty engine

 

Construction yellow is so close you can’t tell the difference.....

And it’s a lot cheaper..... besides cat parts aren’t what they used to be.....

 

Did a 1987 3406B overhaul several years ago.

Used 6 cans of Napa Cat colour paint.
