Your comment made it sound like you were angry at Walmart.

Yeah I hate Walmart with a passion, and this incident was the last straw. I know Walmart had nothing to do with it, and I don't blame them for any of it.

I just hate their entire business model. That store this happened at is literally two miles from my house. I will drive thirty miles the opposite direction if needed to get what I want.

And it's not just Walmart that I won't go to, there are others. I don't discriminate

The J mentioned is very tight for length, I try not to park there. We used to relay there, but I pick my times so there's room to maneuver. Normally go to Walcott, now, and swap on the road that goes by the firehouse and aboveground tanks.

Exit 292 ..haven't stopped there in years due to trashy and run down ...in fact have gotten pretty picky on where I park at all these days avoiding loves and pfj.

As a peddle hand I’m not ashamed to say I’m not above this one myself. It happens to the best of us.

In the case of this hood destruction, I suspect it was dark and someone didn’t feel like getting out to make sure.

Some guys can wrap a trailer around a yellow pole in the middle of a empty 50 acre lot. When I park at a truck stop I almost always park between two trucks, and if the dude on my driver's side pulls out I take that spot. I consider it defensive parking.
Not the way it should be out here, but #### sure is the way it is.

I came back to my truck for my next trip a few times and the wash guy/garage guy at our yard had repeatedly eaten my gum.

So, I started leaving ExLax chewables instead.

    My gum soon quit disappearing.

    TRUE STORY.

I trained 9 drivers OTR, and only one of my trainees ran over a curb to the point we needed another wheel. He also happened to be one of the best drivers I’ve trained. He was driving around the parking lot at the TA in Wytheville, VA, and forgot about his trailer. When I noticed something was wrong, it was too late.

The Loves, aside from filling up, is spacious compared to the J. I had to slide tandems on the way out of a spot, I had help so it was doable. The Loves in South Holland is much worse, from experience. Still not as bad as the Davenport J.
