Federal investigators are looking into a crash that happened early Wednesday morning. According to CNBC, Michigan state troopers were responding to the scene of an accident where a vehicle had struck a deer. The police cruiser was parked with emergency lights on, but was partially still in the right lane of the highway. A Tesla Model Y was reportedly operating in “Autopilot” mode when it crashed into the stationary police vehicle.
