This is why I say make a copy of it. It should have listed the violation (speeding) on there and how many miles per hour over. These are the same sheets they fill out for Level 1,2,3,4,5 and will list violations or say No Violations Found which means a clean inspection. Anything with a violation is a dirty inspection.

We need @Moose1958 up in here to explain this better.

It's a warning ( that's why the company had to sign it and send it back) and that's worse than the ticket......
    No way to challenge it...
Also its like bean jr said its on your csa score for three years and is weighted less each year till it drops off.

NavigatorWife, x1Heavy and Bean Jr. Thank this.

i remember what was on it. My name, my license number, the company's name and license plate/registration number where I was pulled over and it said 12 miles over the speed limit on it. No log book violations. That was it. He said it was not a fine or citation. Just give it to my boss, have him sign it and send it back to the state of vermont. Just a slow down and have a great day and be on your way.

    x1Heavy Thanks this.

In the future you should always make a copy of anything given to you by any LEOs. Including dot cops. Even clean inspections.

Sounds like OP just got a basic Level 3 inspection. It should ve at least showed 12mph over posted speed limit and a N under the Citation or OOS column on the inspection.

    NavigatorWife and flood Thank this.
