During construction an underpass is down to 13’8 in the vicinity of the 14’1 underpass. Approximately 5 miles south of 275 on 75 south a couple miles north of 74. Very little advance notice and backing up would be your only alternative if you are tall.

Aren't loads over 13'6" routed on the oversize permit?

Am always over 13'6 by a few inches. Most states dont bother but i don't run Ohio so i don't know. A dot officer in Virginia scales pulled me back so he could measure my height. I was 13'10. I was able to lower it to 13'8. He asked if i knew where i was going i told him i was heading to California. No ticket. It depends with the dot officer and the state.

It only cost you about 15 minutes if you use 275. No worries if you’re under 14. Probably more but we try to keep it under 14 if we’re familiar with the area. Thanks for the heads up though.
BigBob410 Thanks this. -
