The article says nothing important. All about the speed.
There is no why, when, where, who and what. Nothing constructive or informative. Just speed speed and more speed.
No offense to the OP. But you would think that semi is in pretty good shape for being hit by a 100+ mph car.Bud A. Thanks this. -
I am guessing his speed was greatly reduced by the time the impact occurred. I am not from the area so do not know the roads, but how do the two vehicles end up in that position?
To me it looks like the truck was headed in the opposite direction and the driver lost control of the car and crossed the median sideways. Crossing in a slide would have dropped some speed.
Or he lost control passing the truck in the same direction and somehow hit the trucks front end. The speed difference between the two vehicles would be less that 100mph.
All conjecture on my part. -
That's one thing I hate to do.Bud A. Thanks this. -
Well if you look at the driver of the car(30 years old, still relatively young and dumb, still has the invincible mentality),that should tell you something. Plus,he’s a “regular customer” with the authorities as he has a rap sheet.
x1Heavy and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
i could care less the young thug. he could have easily wiped out and killed, or maimed someone.
now that trucker has a wreck on HIS driving record. and if per chance he already had a previous wreck (or tickets) he has to start all over again cleaning up his record.
pukes like that dipwad 30 year old thug, should have been "put down" and done away with. i see no future in his trying to "go straight"SOAthor, Texas Rebel, x1Heavy and 2 others Thank this.
