Kind of. For a few years I was a courier driver. I delivered car parts in and around my city, so I was constantly in high traffic areas. I have been rear ended 3 times in a year and a half and T-boned once. Every one of these times I have been at a complete stop. The amount of stupidity and carelessness out there is depressing. Luckily for me none of these incidents have been in any way my fault, however my neck is screwed from 4 consecutive whiplash incidents. I certainly hope my trucking career goes a bit more smoothly.

It should. A 4-wheeler hitting the back of a big truck will not hurt the big truck driver any.
If you are heavy and moving you will barely feel it. No matter how hard they hit.RedSkys Thanks this. -
We use to call the bumper on the trailer the ICC bar, short for Incoming Car Catcher. Sounds like yours worked and got one.
