2010 Thermo king tripac apu won't start after service.

A while back I installed new Mr Gasket Micro Diesel fuel pump along with new inline filter that came with the pump.

Worked great for about 50 hours, then it started to cough for a min then quit. Tried running it again, keeps coughing and quitting everytime.

Decided to change the inline filter, it coughed then smoothed out the 2nd try. Worked for 14 hours then it coughed again and quits. So I changed the fuel/water separator filter. It coughed for a few seconds then quit and now it only cranks but no start.

Checked the fuel pump connector and disconnected it to check for voltage when it attempts to start. It's reading from .4v to 1.9v. I then discovered the wire for the pump crossed, touched and melted together. so I separated that and tried to start it again, still reading same low voltage with the pump connected to the power wire.

I checked all breakers, and opened up the control unit in my bunk tool storage, saw F7 is the only thing that would seem to send power to the pump, it was labeled as Fuel Solenoid fuse and it's a 40a fuse. I thought to myself that it can't be that fuse because those wires to the pump do not appear to be more than 10 amp wire. Well anyways that 40A fuse is fine.

I can't think of anything else. only thing I am thinking is that something fried in the control panel?

Or is there something else I can check into it?
