If anyone can help would be highly appreciated on this issue we are having with our truck. Just bought a truck about a month ago and now Traction Control light shows up and Electrical fault is in the message in the dashboard. It has been at international shop for 10 days they fixed some sensors but after a day same problem , no-none seems to figure this issue out. While driving some of the light to the trailer stops working signal and emergency signal lights , also all the controls on the steering (cruise, jake, horn) dont' work when traction light is on . some of the gauges on the right side of the dash dies . There seems to be some kind of electrical problem . anyone has had this happen t them ?

    Geez man, lemon law truck?

I hear similar stories about internatl's shop...All the guys here in Tucson drive 2 hours to Phoenix for thier shop to avoid tucsons shop..

My pal had a similar problem, he had wires fryed together right where the loom goes thru the firewall, caused abunch of wierdness..took awhile to find that one...It came down to an old schooler with a test light, wire ba wire

I agree, sounds like bad wiring somewhere, and I wouldn't take it far because those blinking dash lights could turn into a roadside truck-b-q and then the only blinking lights you'll see are the ones on the fire truck that shows up to put it out.

Sounds like the body controller is getting mixed signals. I would be looking at the wiring between the steering column and body controller. The wiring from the steering wheel likes to cut through and short out on the steering column next to the tilt mechanism.

Sometimes a roadside truck-b-q is the best thing that could happen to some trucks. Just make sure its insured first.

You might have to check steering wheel position sensor. It sits behind the steering wheel. It was the case with my truck.
