2013 Volvo vnl ishift won’t go into drive

    started up this morning did pre trip pulled up to the pump I cut the truck off to put fuel started it back up wouldn’t go into drive said malfunction with gear selector Ecu
    Can anyone help me ??

    Disconnect the batteries at the master switch if you have one and wait about a minute then reconnect. Should clear the ecm.
    It used to work for me.

    Since Volvo and Mack are almost identical, that was Mack's 1st option as well when I started having mDrive issues. They also suggested pulling the selector out of the dash and unplugging it for 30 sec. (mDrive selectors come out using those u-shaped tools that you unlatch a radio with)
