CK. the hood 1st you can put some grease on the stops that are up by windshield, l guess you have all/ready greased the ft. end in all the grease fitting?
Volvo_780 Thanks this. -
Yeah fittings are all greased up sound doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the hood and it’s pretty solid

The air ride cab means that the hood will squeak at the place where the hood sits on near the top of firewall every time the cab moves.
Roberts450 and Volvo_780 Thank this. -
A bit of white lithium grease on the rubber stops for the hood is a simple way to stop most squeaks that are not suspension produced but seem to be because the hood funnels the high frequency sound down.Volvo_780 Thanks this.

Forget the grease on the rubber like few have mentioned, you’ll get grease on yourself when cleaning the windshield. I use old socks. I cut them out and slip them over the 2 rubbers. That stops the squeaky noise you hear.

Grease the 5th wheel lately?
Sometimes that puts the front end under stress and squeak/pop. -
