All 4 of those carriers have some of the worst junk on the road. I'm not 100% sure about this because it is one of those things that seems more like a myth. However it is my understanding the owner of those 4 carriers owns a large interest in a professional sports team. He spends a lot of time and money there. Then his company has to do without. Back in 2012 he decimated WSE then forced them into MCT later. Horrible person according to people I have spoken to about him.

Yeah, I'm thinking after a few phone calls, that'll be the turning point. Lost a whole days work over the start of this load, and half a day after so far, will be 2 days total, and all only due to someone not doing thier job. My p'net is apparently for decoration, as I've only gotten 2 messages replied to, and both were canned messages. Had the others been properly responded to, I wouldn't have wasted a single minute. I totally get that this'll happen occasionally, but t so far it's. Been. Every. Single. Day. *Facepalm*

Yeah, I ended up being shut down in May of '15 after getting "repairs" to a crack in my axle frame. They complained the whole time, and when I got to the scales, everything checked out (having had been a thorn in thier side to get the numerous issues fixed after constant breakdowns) but then the trooper walked me to the back, and literally popped the weld off with a screwdriver..."You can't weld rust son"...I left them shortly after that.

You are the low man on the totem pole. You are getting the trucks that other drivers used to have before they got newer trucks.

That said, what you are describing would be driving me batty. Sitting still when I have driving hours is painful.

In your situation, as I understand it, I would be talking CALMLY with whoever assigns loads. When you get a stinker, take it, but ask whoever assigns loads to look out for you on the next load.

If you really are getting all the #### loads, it might not get any better until someone else is hired, lower on the totem pole than you. That's a f'ed up way to run a company though, and if that's really what is happening, and it happens for more than a couple weeks (long enough for it to no longer just be a test of your temper) I'd start looking for a different company to work for.

I'm pretty sure my temper is being put to the test, for sure. Lol. And I do any loads, even the sh$-+ loads, those are miles. It's the gaps that kill me.

Then I'd say the next step is to start asking politely for good loads after taking unproductive loads.
