Seems decent to me if they pay for your benefits as he stated they do.
But I'm easy to please.motocross25, Brickwall, IluvCATS and 1 other person Thank this. -
67k would be the guy who never hit 10,000 miles in a single month, didn’t hit a single performance bonus threshold, and generally should be fired. That is bare minimum base pay. That’s before you tarp a load, get any layover or breakdown pay, doesn’t include the 800 a month they spend on your medical, dental, vision... sick pay, vacation pay, matching your 401k etc... and in fairness, you may think that is really low for OTR but it’s double what the average driver will make on an OTR fleet at any mega carrier and getting less home time, no benefits, no inverter, no APU, nobody even knows who you are. Respectfully, 67k would be the bottom 5% of the fleet. The lady cleaning the bathrooms at the terminal would beat that. And I know we are talking about money, but there are some things that you can’t assign a dollar value to. There’s a reason you don’t see them plastering advertisements for needing drivers everywhere. They don’t need to search for drivers. 10% turnover says all that really needs to be said.Brickwall Thanks this.

I forgot to mention the ads say they pay for all miles. The thing that I was suspicious of was maybe getting low miles.
I really wanna find a company where I'm getting insurance & putting $1200 in my pocket every week. After reading all these replies, 2 things have become clear: I need to get endorsements, and I've got a lot to learn about all the different ways companies pay their drivers.
Thanks for all the feedback.Need4Speed, Brickwall and RedRover Thank this. -
Medical, dental and vision are company paid. It’s not one of those deals where they advertise benefits and then what they meant is that they offer benefits and you have to pay for them. They actually pay the premiums. They also pay rider insurance as well, 5 years old and up. I’ve only driven for 2 other companies, but I did my best to never go to a terminal. I gladly did my 34 at their terminal. The people are that nice and nobody is sitting around lying and complaining. Not a locked door in the building either. You don’t need to go through bullet proof glass to talk to anyone. I could walk in and talk to any executive, any time I choose.

I made 6k this month and went home twice. And that’s before my bonus gets paid on the 5th. Also not including benefits.

Sounds kinky.Drivingotr4life and RedRover Thank this.

My original trainer and personal friend left my current company to go to long haul trucking. He got fed up with It here (a flatbed mega). I don’t talk with him much anymore but if he is there, it’s legit.

Dude it's in Oregon heck yeah. Run all 48?RedRover Thanks this. -
They have different fleets. There’s a western 11 heavy haul fleet that runs 105k gross. There’s a western 11 and Canada, a 48 and Canada, a 48 States and I believe also a mid/west fleet that never runs east. Guys who run Canada also sometimes go to Alaska.
I run 48 States.Alec the trish and Brickwall Thank this.
