As has been mentioned, a thorough cleaning.
Too much grease in the jaws will effect their operation. And it looks like you've a good amount on / in / around there.
I'm REAL paranoid about 5th wheel maintenance. If you could find an actual repair shop, they'd probably be able to tell you.Midnightrider909 Thanks this. -
I recently ditched my JOST for a new Holland. I like the locking mechanism better, and the bolt on the front, when seated, is a sure fire second visual that the horseshoe is locked in preventing release.
