6 day driving school, ha ha ha, what has this industry come to. 6 days, well is there an Electrician company that
would hire me, with 6 days training. I think i would look like Daffy Duck all burnt up, Ha Ha Ha -

Unpopular opinion but driving a truck really isn't that hard. A ran a few loads after having not sat in a truck in several years and within a block I was already bored out of my tree.

If you would go to company sponsored training then you take care of both your problems in one shot. You know you are getting good training because the company will make sure of it so you do not wreck their truck and you will have a job with them already the day you get your cdl. All they want in return is you work for them for 6-12 months, no out of pocket money for the training.

I'm sure there are plenty on this forum who never had to pay a trucking school. Those schools only teach how to pass the test anyway. That said, six days sounds like a scam to me. Could you even memorize all those pre-trip incantations in six days?lual Thanks this. -
